Discover what's in our own backyard! The always popular Nocturnal Woylie Walks are back! Come and experience Whiteman Park after dark on an interactive evening tour of Woodland Reserve.



Located just 30 minutes from the Perth CBD, and thanks to the Tonkin Highway extension, Whiteman Park is now even closer than you think!



Woodland Reserve is Whiteman Park's premier conservation program, a predator-proof sanctuary for rare and endangered fauna. It is one of the few refuges of the critically endangered woylie or brush-tail bettong (Bettongia penicillata). There are also lots of other animals that reside in the protection of the reserve, including quenda, echidna, wallabies and more.



Led by one of the knowledgeable volunteer guides, these Friday night tours explore the habitats of the Reserve and, thanks to special night-lighting, give you the chance to see these important native animals up close in a natural environment - when they are most active!



During the school holidays, take the kids on one of the special Kids Woylie Walks held during the week. These tours are designed just for the kids, with less walking, more time to watch the animals up close and the chance to meet 'Kate' or 'Bart', the Park's education reptiles.



These tours are a great way to spend an evening, whether as a family outing, special date night, or just to get out and connect with our natural environment.

Bookings are essential and funds from tour fees go towards the upkeep of the Reserve and its inhabitants.
